The opportunity
A fast-scaling Series F, Financical Crime leader is hiring a Senior Solution Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting the UK Strategic banking market, with exposure to wider European initiatives. You’ll play a key role in shaping technical sales strategy across financial services, working closely with Sales, Alliances, Marketing and Product.
This is a client-facing role for someone who can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. You’ll run presentations and demos, support enterprise opportunities end-to-end, and represent the business at industry events and webinars.
What you’ll be doing
- Support enterprise sales cycles as the technical pre-sales lead
- Partner with Sales, Product, SMEs and other stakeholders to deliver winning solutions
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders from mid-level to executive leadership
- Discover customer pain points and map them to solution value
- Deliver strong product demos, presentations and workshops
- Develop tailored Proof of Concepts (POCs) aligned to business needs
- Support responses relating to compliance/security statements where needed
- Represent the business at relevant industry events and thought leadership sessions
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience in Solution Engineering / Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting / Technical Architecture / Product roles
- Deep experience supporting Tier 1 Banks
- Confidence presenting to and influencing enterprise stakeholders and executives
- Solid technical understanding of enterprise software and architecture
- Experience with data-led / analytics solutions such as:
- Entity Resolution
- Network/Graph Generation
- Advanced Analytics
- Domain knowledge in financial services such as:
- Risk
- Anti-Financial Crime / AML
- Fraud / KYC
- CRM or related banking workflows
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics
