Salary: $135,000–$150,000 + Benefits

Clearance: Active Secret preferred (TS/SCI eligibility required)

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work directly with government customers to deploy, customise, and support advanced software platforms in secure environments.

You'll become a trusted technical advisor, translating operational requirements into technical solutions while helping customers maximise the value of mission-critical technology.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and support software within secure government environments.
• Work directly with end users to understand operational challenges and develop practical technical solutions.
• Build data pipelines, integrations, automation, and custom applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and rapidly iterate solutions in mission-critical environments.
• Act as the technical bridge between engineering teams and government stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years' experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Experience working directly with customers or end users.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Passion for solving challenging technical problems.

Desirable Experience

• Defence, Intelligence Community, or Federal Government projects.
• Palantir, TAK, AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud technologies.
• Software deployment, implementation, or technical consulting.
• Building APIs, integrations, automation, or data pipelines.
• Rapid prototyping or customer solution development.

Security Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance preferred (ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI required).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
