Job Description

A leading Resorts/Gambling firm with 3500 heads and a $1.5bn turnover in the US, is looking for a Sr. Finance Analyst to join their forward-thinking and fast-growing team. They will look to deliver high quality and quantity of analytical work critical for the organization's financial success.

You will play a key role in providing comprehensive financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision support to management. Provide analytical support to assess and monitor the performance of each property. Responsible for conducting complex financial modelling, analysing trends, and contributing as necessary to the organization’s overall financial health.

Essential Duties

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support budgeting. forecasting and other planning initiatives
• Provide financial analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modelling to identify key business drivers and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain and organize financial data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Utilize financial modelling tools to support financial processes
• Leverage financial modelling tools, including Anaplan, to accelerate analytical processes
• Actively maintain and develop dashboards in Anaplan
• Work efficiently in SQL and Excel by leveraging best practices for each application, including Excel shortcuts and SQL code documentation

Job Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a Senior Financial Analyst or Financial Analyst position
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math or related area with a quantitative emphasis, preferred
• Experience in the Gambling/Casino/Resorts & Hospitality space
• Extensive knowledge and regular use of SQL, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Ability to write queries using standard tools to extract data from relational (SQL) databases
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methods, with the ability to build models using retrieved data
• Experience with Marketing Analysis and associated statistical techniques
• Experience building financial models and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts such as discounted cash flow and valuation
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methods, with the ability to build models using retrieved data
• Anaplan experience preferred but not required!
